Minecraft Server Status Checker

Enter a server address to see if it's online right now, how many players are connected, and what version it's running.

How to use this tool

  1. Type the server's address — a domain like play.hypixel.net, or an IP, optionally with a port like example.com:25565.
  2. Click Check Status — the tool queries a public Minecraft server-status API in real time.
  3. See at a glance whether the server is online, its player count, version, and MOTD.

Frequently asked questions

Some servers block status pings for security, or use a non-standard port that wasn't included in the address you entered — try adding the exact port after a colon, e.g. play.example.com:25566.

This checker targets Java Edition servers by default. Bedrock servers use a different protocol and typically aren't detected the same way.

No — this uses a third-party public status API that pings servers the same way the in-game multiplayer list does, but it isn't affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.
